How to fix a cupped hardwood floor

Can you be more specific on the site conditions the wood floor is in? Things to know are when or how long ago was installation. Is floor on concrete or first, second floor? What type of wood is it. solid, engineered, exotic, domestic,glue down, floating, naildown,click……………………There are many variables that go into explaining and choosing a remedy to the problem.
